Finally stopped at the Museum Of Coca-Cola Memorabilia while visiting family. They have limited hrs so check the website or Facebook page. Response time on FB is pretty quick. The cost is $5 for adults, worth the price. Free parking on the side of streets, we had no issues on a Saturday afternoon. No crowds, wear your mask.
Once you enter pay the fee to the friendly host, and she explains the self your & will start the video when you are ready. Don't miss the video, lots of history of how the museum started and where the items came from. I loved the decor and all the memorabilia. A few items came from abroad per the host. The place is spacious and absolutely beautiful! It was a step back in time but in a more modern form. They have done a excellent job with all the items, explanations are on everything. You need at least 1.5hrs if you really read and stroll thru without rushing. There is a patio out pack with seating if you wanna have a cold cola! They sell drinks, snacks and a few souvenir items.
Put this on your list to do in Cedartown if your in the area, its completely different from the one in Atlanta. I was completely surprised, glad I spent...
Read moreThis was an excellent find in Cedartown, GA that some people may not know about. I've known for awhile about this small Coca-Cola museum, but because of their operating hours I always seemed to be in town when they're closed. I was finally able to stop by and check it out last month while we was visiting family in a nearby community. Due to my limited time....I only gave myself one hour for my visit, but I would recommend that you give yourself at least 1.5 hours.
There is a lot of exhibits and information to check out, and the price was very reasonable and affordable. They have a short 40 minute video as well, that explains how this museum came to existion. I would highly recommend it to friends and family members who enjoy museums or are...
Read moreLoved this place. The lady behind the desk was very friendly and welcoming. She made us feel at ease and was passionate about the museum and the back story of how some of the pieces were purchased.
We had the whole place to ourselves, giving us plenty of time to learn about the history and look around all of the memorabilia. There are some really interesting pieces in there. Everything is really well presented.
I'd highly recommend a visit here. Allow an hour or more to look around at everything. It's not a huge place but it's packed with many interesting pieces.
Restrooms are really nice. You can also purchase some themed t-shirts and other items...
