Peek Forest Park — Attraction in Cedartown

Love it here. Great place to walk and to take the kids and it's also pet friendly. They have a splash pad during the summer and a second to none playground all year around with a beautiful walking track and plenty of poké stops for those who love Pokémon Go. They have two tennis courts and a basketball court and plenty of parking with a public restroom that is handicapped accessible with plenty of water fountains around the park so you don't have to worry about being thirsty. There are plenty of shady areas to sit and enjoy after your walk as well as well as gazebos that are usable and are rentable for parties. Always enjoy going to the park. Splash fountain for the kids in the summer, great walking/jogging paths around the entire park, very nice playground for the kids, picnic tables for public use (free), a large pavilion that is lighted and has electricity and water available that can be used and also can be reserved for special occasions/functions, barbecue pits, a small outdoor arena for musical events, and even tennis courts. All packaged nicely in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood and walking distance from many shops and stores. Only minutes from downtown. Very well established park, has been in use for decades, better part of a century (not certain of the exact age of the park, may possibly even be in or very near it's 100th year.....) So sad What they have done to the playground.My grandchildren are hot and to miserable to play with no shade.I'm to hot to stand with them and it looks just like Cedartown( trash everywhere) Could someone in the city please provide trash cans on the playground? A mother with four kids cannot walk out of the area and leave her babies to get rid of water bottles and cups.Which she needs to survive on that playground What a waste of taxpayer money.If shade sails aren't installed I think someone will probablybsue due to burns or heat stroke.We are loading backup and going to...
