The FREE museum guided tours were SOOOOOO knowledgeable of the past and the rooms filled with donations of people from the area, made us feel we were part of the period! I cannot believe such a "Jem" is there!? Who knew!! Anyone who visits Cedar Lake, the Light House, or Sand bar or Sundaes on the lake, NEED to visit!!...

Did the train show today. Fun event. Sponsored by Demotte State Bank for free admission. Train people were very interactive. Displays were very nice. The museum had a special mastodon exhibit. In the past did the Dewey steam powered boat ride. Very educational and a great place for...

What an incredible AND beautiful museum! Right on the lake - you'll feel like you've walked into 1920! Excellent exhibits, artifacts and things to see! Give yourself about an hour, and it is handicap accessible. Enjoy the museum then walk out to the pier...
