First I want to start with this was first time ever going kayaking and I HAD A BLAST. Christine was extremely helpful and very detail oriented in making sure we understood the trip, the equipment, and all the things we would come across while on our adventure. I highly recommend watching the safety video fully if you have never been before as Brandie’s video helped me not only have the most safe and fun experience I could but was also very informative and made me a pro on my first time kayaking. The trip was extremely calm and serene. There are two or three level one rapids and the rest of the trip is smooth sailing. When I say rapids I mean very small rapids hardly noticeable. My family and I had a wonderful experience and we cannot wait to go again! Christine helped us in and out of the kayaks with ease and made sure we had the best time possible. Let us know when you get season passes! Definitely recommend I wish I could give them more than five stars! Also don’t forget to always wear your life jacket and the water is shallow so you can get in and hang out when you’re...

We recently enjoyed a hammock camping experience at Vintage View River Retreat & Adventures' newly established campsite. The property offered excellent riverside positioning with suitable trees for hammock setup, providing a tranquil and memorable outdoor experience.

While we typically prefer hammock camping over traditional tent accommodations, we were impressed by the thoughtful preparation of the staff, who had proactively set up a backup tent for our use. This foresight proved invaluable when an unexpected rain shower occurred during the night, ensuring our comfort and safety throughout our stay.

We are enthusiastic about all of the planned property developments and also look forward to experiencing some of the additional recreational activities they offer, such as river tubing and kayaking on future visits. The combination of excellent service, scenic location, and diverse adventure opportunities makes this a must visit destination. We...

Many thanks to Vintage View adventures for a 5 star afternoon recently. Not only did they take care of everything for the kayak trip (boats, paddles, transport, put in and take out), they introduced us to the Pacolet - a true hidden gem of the Upstate. We met in the twin of the same name, were fitted to PFDs, hopped in the van (with a/c) and drove to the out in point. This was perhaps the most strenuous part of the trip, since you have to go down a hill to the water. But after that we had a very relaxing paddle for 3.5 hours back to the take out point and the car. The water was a little higher because of recent rain and that made the trip even more effortless. We are checking out their calendar because we are certainly going to do this again. Many thanks to Vintage Views for their hard work putting together such a...
