This place has everything covered for safety. I am afraid of heights but I am always challenging myself to get higher and possibly over it. Well I don't know if that is totally possible but tonight was a huge advancement for me. I had to keep reassuring myself of all the safety precautions that I could see and feel for myself and try to block my fears to move on. It was a battle in my head but was great because there was no one there pushing me but myself. They go over every little detail with you and have you have to practice it before you even start. Once you go up and start the course, they have people there to help you and coach you along the way. Never too pushy but always encouraging. I was afraid I was holding up others behind me because it took me so long to take just the 1st step in some places (well really almost all places) but there are so many options that you can move around and come back if that was the case. It felt like eternity for me to take that one step to make the big jump but I did before I left. I'm glad I did. It is so worth it if you want to really challenge yourself. Highly recommend! Oh, one more thing. Gloves are highly recommended if you are going to be hanging on for dear life. Those of you not afraid heights and that can do this is a more relaxed way probably don't need them.

Took my son for his 10th birthday. After reading many positive reviews, I was confident that we would have a safe and fun time even though he didn’t meet the height requirements to do the zip line. He is 4ft 5in which required a paid “chaperone”. I was told the course averaged a 2 hour climb.and that the staff would be on call and accessible should we need them. That was not the case. When we arrived we were somewhat rushed into a group introduction that had already started. While she was very sweet, I’m not able to say the staff member was an instructor. Her intro was memorized using terminology that I in no way understood nor could I communicate to my child. I’m sure some did but it felt that no one could comprehend understood unless you had prior experience climbing or any knowledge at all of harnessing gear and the lock/key. From the Start of the intro to finish… approximately 5-8 minutes. So I started the course even more hesitant. Within minutes we (my son and I) experienced difficulties. Not only was he not at all talk enough to maneuver the locks along the rope, we had no real understanding of the level of difficulty, the direction toward an easier course or what to do in case we needed assistance. During introduction, my son asked “what do we do if we need help?” And the staff said to not worry and that they were everywhere to help. That was not the case. With that said, we caused a traffic jam. Anyone that came behind us only added to our congestion. Because my son couldn’t reach his locks to the key, I had to do it for him and resulted in a chaotic tangle. We were wrapped in each other’s harnessing and noone available to help. In fact 2 sets of course goers bypassed us before anyone came to untangle us. Once that was undone, there was no clear direction on which way to go. So we went straight to the only section of the entire course that I saw a staff member, which turned out to be the free fall that takes you to the ground and what I assumed to be the end. Not at all coming close to the approximate 2 hour experience that I paid for. Additionally, we had 1 other individual who went to the observation deck. He wasn’t able to get a seat nor did he have a visual as it was advertised. He walked back down to watch from the ground, goes to the counter to order a beer but since no one on your staff was of age to sell alcohol, this was no longer an option. I am definitely not one to post reviews but I felt that given the amount of money spent, the overall experience did not meet my expectations at all. I do hope over time the staff training and availability will improve which will only lead to better outcomes. And more importantly the height requirement and maybe a clearer direction to difficulty levels while up in the course should be revisited. My son is short but more than willing and wasn’t scared but physically it was impossible for him to...

I had my son’s 12th Bday party at Ryze Adventure Park, and everyone had an absolute blast! My 8 year old daughter and her 7 year old friend enjoyed the little ninja course, and the 11-15 year old boys (and 40 year old Dad) really enjoyed the big ninja course. The course was mentally and physically challenging for all! From the observation steps and deck, I watched them all grow from starting off a little timid/nervous to each accomplishing their own personal successes at their own rates. It truly was amazing! The course allows for the child/adult to choose their own level of difficulty and path, which was really helpful for the various level of climbers that we had in our group! In addition to climbing or observing, we also enjoyed the covered patio for snack/drink breaks, playing bags and mini golf! Moreover, the Ryze staff was very accommodating and flexible with our party date and time. The morning of our scheduled party, I called Ryze to see if we could switch the party to the next day, due to a severe weather threat, and that was not a problem at all! I was so grateful for their flexibility and carefree attitude about this last minute change. The Ryze staff was also professional, friendly and helpful! The climbers go through a training before they are free to take on the course. Overall, my son and the rest of us agree that this was the best Birthday Party idea and we cannot wait to go back! I highly recommend Ryze Adventure Park to all adventure seekers or adventure...

We came on August 11th for mini golf. Unfortunately we did not have a great experience. Upon arrival, we stood in line behind 1 family which took about 10 minutes. During that time we were not addressed by any of the other staff that were walking around seemingly without purpose. Once it was our turn to check in, we were informed we couldn't check in yet because we needed to fill out the waiver on the automated system along the wall...a waiver for mini golf? There were no signs posted directing us to this system but we complied. The system asked us for very personal information just short of a Social Security number which we could not bypass just to hit a couple golf balls. We took care of that and got checked in only to find that the course was subpar. The tally system is automated now but hard to navigate without instruction so we chose to just keep score in our heads (I won by a landslide lol). The courses do not have any bumpers on them at all so this was a big fail for all of us without superior golf skills. My 6 and 18yr old boys and myself found it very difficult to keep our balls on each course. I will say alternatively it looked like a great time on the harness course. Seems as if golf was an afterthought idea and accomplished by rolling out some different colored textured turfs and calling it mini golf. For this reason, we may come back for the harness course but definitely won't be...
