To many, Jerry is one of the most informative and fascinating people on Route 66. We had a fantastic visit with him and discussed some topics regarding old alignments, his photography, and artwork. His photography and artwork are amazing and beautiful. There were several pieces that caught my eye. We also purchased two of his new books, which he signed. One book will not be traveling back with us to San Diego but will be given to one of the business owners in Arizona. We also purchased three of his artwork, and one will not be traveling with us back to San Diego.

Jerry greeted me in the afternoon with a big smile and warm hospitality even if I came in with a very short notice. For a big fan of his Route 66 guide book like me, I couldn't be happier to see him in person and had his autograph in it. I am not sure when I will be coming back for another road trip but Jerry sure made it a remarkable and memorable one. I also purchased one his sketches and it's on the wall in my house.

Jerry is something of a Route 66 legend. He's been involved in preservation and promotion of the road for many years, and a conversation with him is an easy way to turn a 10-minute visit into two hours. He's also a skilled artist and his EZ Guide is the best travel resource for Route 66.
