Lake Riley — Attraction in Chanhassen

Beautiful park/beach but HORRIBLE lifeguards. They yell at you (very rudely) if your toes are in the water during a safety break. They yell at you if go outside the rope. The deepest part of the water only goes to my waste and I get yelled at when I want to go deeper. If I want to swim in deeper water, I have to go to the other side of the lake otherwise I get yelled at. No other beach has lifeguards that constantly yell at you for stupid reasons. The lifeguards at Lake Riley are EXTREMELY rude. This is not a beach I would take children to....

One of the best lakes/parks in Eden Prairie! There is a nice boat launch on the east side of the lake as well as a nice beach for swimming. The park next to the beach offer a playground, grills, sand volleyball courts, basketball court, tennis courts with pickleball lines, disc golf practice baskets and walking trails. Very fun for sand volleyball, boating, kayaking, swimming. A great park for kids, and lots of area to spread out and relax! Super easy to get boats in and out of the water too.
