Bees Ferry West Ashley Library — Attraction in Charleston

This library is a piece of work. Computers are painfully slow. Came into get books from the children’s area for a unit of study that I will be teaching soon. Way too noisy. Parents letting kids run loose around the library. Parents let kids take out toys and clutter the floor. This library needs to do better.

Update (3/22): I came in to look for a few books. Middle schoolers came into the library after school and they were rambunctious. There was a group of middle schoolers in a study room and they were shouting, kicking the wall, and spraying body spray inside the library. Many weeks ago, i came here to pick up a DVD. i wore a shield because i cant wear a mask. the asst manager here was so very rude and unprofessional. she tried to berate me, embarass me (in a loud voice) and make me look like i did something wrong. So No tina, YOU did something wrong. I would suggest you look up the rules according to the charleston county mandate. The library itself is super nice! Everything is clean and organized with dozens of computers to use. Special shout-out to Tina for putting together an extremely thoughtful book bundle for me along with a few treats! All of the staff I have worked with have been extremely friendly and are more than happy to give you some recommendations if you ask.
