The Hindu Center of Charlotte is a beautiful and serene temple that offers a deeply spiritual experience for visitors and devotees alike. The temple is well-maintained, with traditional architecture that creates an atmosphere of devotion and peace. From the moment you step inside, you can feel a sense of calm and connection. The deities are beautifully adorned, and the priests perform rituals with sincerity and devotion. Weekly events, cultural programs, and religious celebrations like Diwali, Navratri, and Janmashtami are organized with great enthusiasm, making it a lively community hub. There's also a dining area that often serves delicious prasad or special meals during events. The temple staff and volunteers are welcoming and helpful, creating a warm and inclusive environment for people of all ages. Whether you're going for darshan, attending aarti, or simply seeking quiet time for prayer and reflection, the Hindu Center of Charlotte is a wonderful place to reconnect with your roots and find inner peace.

I can't properly put into words how beautiful this place is not just for the eyes but for the soul. The stone work is hand carved and brought in from India. Although it's under renovation, the old temple is still being used and welcomes respectful visitors. Remove your shoes before entering. This is a quiet environment as prayer is being held, so please put phones on silent and keep voices low. They sell sweets in the temple, and I highly recommend them. They have flyers detailing the upcoming events open to the public. This was a beautiful experience, I would recommend this to anyone, just be respectful.

We had very good time today in vihar hall With all the longtime folks. Purandara dasa keertan gatherings. After that We had balaji arcana maha mangalarti Finally we were about to go home got laddus And mixture and sambar powder from the Temple manager we bought which is good too. The only thing I didn’t like was the prasadam rice based was kept opened and it was all dried out It seemed like they are serving for dogs or something I didn’t even touch it . I asked our priest He said I could take a box of prasadam which Gita Group was serving they could afford to give me one. Which was good. I would really appreciate if they kindly put in boxes and leave it as they used to do during Covid times. I did tell the front desk lady whom so it was The prasadam was inedible dry to consume. Hope they give attention to the details of serving prasadam In ny queens mahaganapati temple they distribute Lots of free prasadam all boxed during ganapathi Festival for days they don’t Give...

This temple become completely commercial Today they celebrated Garuda vahana usthavam after Moolamantra Homam part of Brahma utsavam. However, they didn't serve maha prasadam suffiecintly to devotees after the long day means around 3 pm served 1/4 spoon lemon rice, 1/4 piece of masala vada and 1/4 spoon of curd rice. Most of the devotees left with hungry with disappointment. This is a bad thinking of the management. If you're not able to serve the mahaprsadsm to the devotees don't invite many devotees and also announce between 12-1.00 pm as devotees should take care of their food at outside. Please don't send the devotees with hungry from the temple. I never seen this type of bad situation in this temple...
