China Taste — Restaurant in Charlotte

I needed a quick lunch option so of course Chinese food popped in my mind. I decided to try this place close to my job and let's just say I probably won't eat here again.

I ordered steam dumplings, and shrimp fried rice with chicken wings.

The shrimp fried rice really didn't have any type of flavor to it, And that's sad for a Chinese restaurant. Even the soy sauce couldn't save it. The shrimp was overcooked.

The chicken was bland. It's like they took it out the pack and threw it in the grease. Dassit.

The steam dumplings, which I ordered beef, were horrible. The dipping sauce did not help at all. I ended up ripping the meat ball out of the dumpling and just ate the dumpling shell.

They can use a better cook. #GratuityAdded

Aweful. Online menu prices dont match the actual prices. Nobody speaks good english so ordering was hard. They told me 10-15min for a pick up and then called me 13min later n said "when are you coming get your food you need hurry and get" mind you i was in the parking lot. Then i get my food paid with my card, reciept said i paid 24.40. I get a text saying my card was just charged 29.26. So they got me for almost $5. When i called to get it taken care of the guy didnt speak english so he jus kept saying "what u want order". I asked to speak to one of the other 3 people that i just saw in there and he told me "nobody here". Pork egg rolls had no pork. Chicken had no flavor. All around disappointed. Will not be...

Ordered from doordash, and the doordash person was pleasant and got here pretty quickly, but the order was completely wrong. We ordered combination plates with the fried rice and the egg roll and they sent white rice with no egg rolls at all. I called the restaurant and the guy working there blamed it on me, but I clearly clicked on the order under the combination plate with both of my orders on the door dash website and didn't do anything reconcile the situation or offer to fix the order. Poor customer service! Then the lo mein was chunked together as if it had been sitting out or something! I will not be going back to this...
