Probably not something you want to take your young kids to if they don't have any patience ,or a short attention span or if they are not interested in history. From the vibe I got I did not feel welcomed nor did I feel like it was a friendly environment for my son due to his lack of patience . I can say I have been to a lot of museums and this one was the biggest let down I've yet to experience. Sorry but not sorry this is not a place that has any kind of family vibe at all . this place I feel just caters to it's vets who visit this place if you're just a regular person trying to take your family out to a cool place were they could learn about history there are other really cool places don't let this place curb your enthusiasm You people need to get a grib and treat people with respect and show some dam patients with your patrons who...

An excellent museum -- very well laid out and very authentic. We loved seeing and trying to read about all the exhibits. But I would strongly recommend not having the "guided" tour, at least with the individual we had -- he did not listen to much of anything we had to say and interrupted quite often, and his political comments and statements about the towers on 9-11 were very inappropriate, And we did not need to hear that most Medal of Honor "winners" are dead -- as a Marine Corps Vietnam veteran, I am well aware of that, and an individual is awarded the Medal of Honor. They don't "win" it. We would have loved to have spent more time and viewed at our own pace, and I will certainly return in the future to...

This is such a great Museum with a vibrant history of our American servicemen and women who served in and some gave their lives for our country. 🇱🇷There are many branches of the military represented here. It is a somber place when you know what occurred in these peoples lives. The stories represented here would take your breath away of what some of these military service people went through. Many people have donated their uniforms, medals and anything to do with their service in the military.

It is a must see Museum. Every man, woman and child should see this Museum to really understand what it takes to be in the military and the responsibility you have to protect our country....

This museum is awesome. Tons of artifacts/items from world war I all the way to Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF) & Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF). The museum is ran by veterans who are really cool & have great stories to tell. Great place to bring your family for an afternoon. They also have a lot of events they do outside from car shows to BBQ's. We bought the 1 year family pass as we live close by. Anyone in your family going to school? They can come here & use the museum to write a paper on something to do with any war. The museum also has a library full of books and DVD/VHS tapes. They have TV's and players for the media. Great place!

This is a museum that you should not miss! The sheer volume and variety of what the museum has is better than some state museums I have been to. Focusing on American Military history, it also highlights the impact that the residences of and service members from Washington State have had on American Military history. I cannot recommend the museum enough, I would plan for at least two hours (if not more) to see everything. Entrance fees are reasonable (discounts for active duty, reserve, and veterans), parking is abundant, and everyone who works there has a passion for the museum's mission.
