Spring River Dam 3 — Attraction in Cherokee Village

This was once hallowed ground! ** Update with the recent cycles of flooding the powers that be have removed some of the trees along the bank upstream of the culverts. This action has resulted in a change of water temp from 3-5 degrees. As of this update the fishing, that was once so enjoyed by countless fishing enthusiasts, is now just a memory. It might get better in October but right now (7/12/25) the water is just too warm. People are now swimming where we used to catch big beautiful trout. Better off to go to deeper/ faster water....

Only went there once but there are flat rocks/boulders lining the banks to sit on while you fish. I plan on going back to check out more of the place. Apparently it has a walking trail...
