I grew up in this neighborhood and came here all the time as a kid some 20-30 years ago. Even though I live in King, North Carolina now, I still visit my old stomping grounds at least once a year to see some folks that I know (mostly the church I attended and the pizza place where I worked). Last year, I stopped by the park, and though it appears the play equipment has changed quite a few times, the trail around the pond has not. The bridge is still there.
