Soo is this park/trail open to the public or not? Saw all of these great reviews about this trail so my girlfriend and I drove 35 minutes out to take this slightly difficult trail to some amazing views, just to see No Trespassing signs posted everywhere at the "entrance". What's the deal? By the way, the "entrance" is right next to someones house and driveway with no actual parking spots, and a sign that says "Roaring Brook Residents Only" on a gate that blocks the trail. Maybe we're not as brave as the rest of you, but I'm not coming back to a towed car just for a nice walk. Was very excited about this trail; dreams...
Read moreGreat little hike! Well-maintained and marked main trail. Lots of unmarked trails that go farther up into the hills and branch off the main one, for a little more of a challenge if you want. Otherwise it's simply up to the falls & back the way you came. An option for those looking for more of a workout is to head right at the first fork, this will take you up a steep incline over rocks which then connects to the blue trail.
