Chester Park — Attraction in Chester

May 17 2022 Tuesday Saw a person with 3 fish they caught at Chester Park at the Creek by the bridge. Went for a walk on the dirt path along to Creek on Chester PA side to the Woodlot side heading toward Brookhaven/Parkside PA Good path with shade.

Cheater Park side Path is a dirt path that is in need of repair to make it safe to walk on like the Woolot side in Brookhaven/Parkside PA which is paved and it makes it safer being level ground to walk on. . The steel bridge needs repair to when you get to both ends of the dirt path . I saw a baby stroller I had to stop a falling baby on to the dirt path at one end of the bridge as dirt path is being washed away at either end of the steel bridge. It needs repair in Chester. Do not know who to contact to fix the path on both sides of the bridge in Chester Park before some...

This is such a peaceful little park. There are two tennis courts, a walking path, a children's park area with swings and slides, loads of grass as far as the eyes can see...in case you are the picnic in the grass type, benches through out the park, there's even a stage with permanent rows of seating... if maybe you want feel like a rock star for a moment, lastly..there is a rink of some type. I believe the rink is for skating. Not large like a commercial skating rink but small for maybe teaching your child to skate. I used to go there for peaceful reading and relaxing. I don't think it's the park for a barbeque but bring the kids on and relax...

This park has a river flowing in the middle and it looks very different depending on which side of the river you go. There's a play set including slides is on one side and it's terrible. It was built sometime around 2016 and there was no updates or clean ups what so ever. Ground on the play area has more trash than wood chips.
