This platter was $14, and this is the small. Which is my main problem. The girl up front said the large was $15 so I’m not sure how a small is $14 and a large is $15…. I think this food should have been $10, but this is not my store to set the price, but as you can see they only give 3 pieces of meat with the small and rice… I’m from Philly where this is $6-10…. The taste of the food is good, but I also don’t like how the pepper were barely cooked, really crunchy. Nonetheless, this is close to my school so I would come back...
Read moreExpensive, inconsistent and often rude are my three complaints with this place. I've been frequenting Elba's for about three years. Elba herself is very nice and generous with her portions. The younger women there (I believe her daughter) is so skimpy with her portions. A plate of rice with THREE tiny pieces of chicken is $13-15!! The same plate was $10 three years ago. I know about inflation but rice hasn't gone up that much and neither has chicken. Their empanadas have also increased in cost. From $2 to $2.50 but decreased in the amount of beef they put inside. They're so flat they might as well be just dough. My family and I have decided not to buy food from here anymore. We're tired of paying more and getting less. It's ridiculous really. He estado yendo a Elba's durante unos tres años.
Read more2 for 1 video, Bacon, Egg & Cheese on Toast and a Cheesesteak Empanada. It was early. Door was open. I walked in. I ordered. I waited. I was tired, hungry and cranky. I googled Elba’s. They weren’t open. The man was waiting for the grill to heat up. I was still hungry but happy they opened early for me. Bacon, Egg & Cheese had a good amount of food and was very nicely made. The Empanada, I over reheated it in my air fryer. Good little empanada. $2.50, I’m not going...
