Great (Medium) sized Stadium with roughly 18,500 seats, by the Delaware River in Chester, PA. The route 322 Commodore-Barry Bridge can be seen in the background. Stadium parking is spread out with lots A and B closest to the stadium, and lot C just beyond Lot B by the training facility. If in Lot C or forced out (away from Stadium) go with the flow, across the tracks and continue straight to get to Route 95. You can also take Flower Street and there is another entrance North on 2nd, just past Flower on the right.
$10 local parking can be found around the stadium nearby, park at your own risk. There are usually people trying to flag you down as you pass. I never had any issues, between 2nd and 3rd Street.
Recommend coming early, SoB has tailgating in their lot by Lot B. As early as 4 hours before kickoff, ending 1-hour before kickoff to break down their tailgating and march in to the stadium.
Not into tailgating, already ate before coming out, not a problem there are events from sponsors and partners all around the stadium to check out, including a DJ to help you get pumped up for the game!
Concession stands, friendly people behind the counters, not so friendly prices. Plenty of choices, no Dunken Donuts (not even a small coffee cart). Get your Game day coffee, before hand!
Bathrooms, decent bathrooms, doors are cramped, go out the same way you entered. Need hand dryers as paper towels run out (place full rolls before matches, and fill dispensers).
Club seats, you get your own entrance, elevator to take you to upper level. There is a bar and buffet (by score board). Have not rented a suite, but do like the views from the 2nd deck.
Beer garden, small shed some benches, nice view of field. I would of Designed it to be like small European market, several huts maybe with different beers. Imports, domestics, and micro breweries selection. Maybe partner with Philly Pretzels and have a booth/cart up there as well? Also have some Premio...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI had the pleasure of attending a Philadelphia Union soccer match at Subaru Park last night, and I must say, it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The moment I arrived, I was struck by the impressive layout of the stadium. Itās designed in such a way that every seat offers a fantastic view of the field, ensuring you donāt miss any of the action no matter where youāre sitting.
The amenities at Subaru Park are top-notch. Thereās a wide selection of food and drink options that cater to every taste and preference. From classic stadium fare to more unique and gourmet options, thereās something for everyone. The vendors were friendly, efficient, and provided excellent service, making the entire experience even more enjoyable.
The overall atmosphere of Subaru Park is electric. The energy from the fans is palpable and adds to the excitement of the game. The stadium staff were also incredibly helpful and courteous, contributing to a very positive experience. The cleanliness and maintenance of the stadium are also worth noting, as itās clear that a lot of effort goes into keeping the venue in excellent condition.
In addition to the game itself, there are various entertainment options and activities around the stadium, making it a great place for families and groups. The accessibility and ease of navigating the stadium are also commendable, with clear signage and ample facilities to accommodate everyone.
Overall, Subaru Park offers an exceptional experience for any soccer fan or event-goer. The combination of its impressive layout, excellent amenities, friendly vendors, and electric atmosphere makes it a standout venue. I highly recommend attending a match or event hereāyou wonāt be...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreSubaru Park, is an amazing venue, a great place to commune with nature and reflect. I am especially thankful that the operators took the necessary time and spend their revenue to cut back on the foilage, so that a clear view of the majestic Delaware Rivet can be seen clearly. Also, that they place trash receptacle in key locations. A work task that I believe should have been accomplished by the City of Chester. I think that the waterfront should be a place of destination. Possibly a 'Ferris Wheel', or possibly a prominent promoter would strike a deal to rent the facility and bring in some high priced entertainment. 18,000 seats with the minimum price of $100.00 per ticket x 8 times a year could generate some serious revenue. Heck, the "T" shirt concession alone would generate over 100k easily. This area is starving for "World Class" entertainment. Afterwards, coming from a great show, no one is going to want McDonald's, so I would like to believe that a enterprising entrepreneurs would open a Family Friendly up-scale restaurant, with a view of the again Majestic Delaware River. Just...
