South Chester Market Place — Local services in Chester

This was my 1st time visiting The Market Place. It was great to see all the vendors and business people in their stores that are extremely clean and organized. At the insistence of my brother, I patronized Humdiggidy's. I found the area very neat and clean. Ming, at the front of the store greeted me with a smile and let me know my order was being prepared. I asked her to put a menu in my bag, and when I saw the neatly stacked, 'very generous' slices of cake on the counter, I had to buy one...well, actually 2, lol. I purchased the lemon cake. It was freshly made, moist and delicious! I loved the Chicken Fried Rice and BBQ Chicken Wings I ordered--very well seasoned, just right. If you haven't gotten down to the Market Place yet, you are missing a real opportunity to patronize Chester small businesses and to buy some really good...

This place is building more within and expanding. And so far me AND my wife have not been disappointed. We don't eat just anywhere and since going to this place we go there at least 3 times a week. Water ice, soul food with a few unique dishes and portions that can feed at least 2-3 at a time and cake that will make you mad your grandmother doesn't cook that well. And Miles better than any store bought and most bakeries I've tried I need their cake no less than 2xs a week. And they are friendly. I enjoyed the atmosphere. It's pretty small but holds a good amount of items. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. It was mostly clothes, jewelry and a couple books. It seem to have a big hair salon and there's a small food court but it wasn't open the day I was there. Overall...
