This is Krusty the Clown's farm/landscape garden. It's overpriced, laughably executed, and potentially dangerous. My wife, daughter and I were at an organic farm picking strawberries in the area and were recommended to check this place out. We were not expecting the $15 per adult entrance fee (much, but perhaps not the most important part of this review would be moot if no fee was charged for entrance - and in fairness, they refunded the entrance fee due to our experience). Based on conversations with worker there, the site was constructed by a landscaper and originally served as their offices for meeting with clients. At some point in time, they decided to open up to the public. In the transition from limited private showcase for clients to open gardens for the public, they never fully completed the project. The farm aspect is almost non-existent, and the landscape garden feels like a step above a front yard. The "brick oven pizza" was simply pizza ordered from a nearby pizzeria and reheated in a brick oven. Finally, it was a bit windy the day we visited, and as we were finishing up, the umbrellas in the patio at the rear of the main building began tipping over (nobody thought to weigh them down). One hit me in the head from the rear and missed my 18 month old daughter by only a couple of feet. If you want a farm, go to a real farm (we enjoyed Chesterfield Organic Orchards for strawberry picking, but not sure what all it offers year round). If you want a landscape garden, go to Grounds for Sculpture. If you want a place to relax outdoors and enjoy great food and drink, go to the Brick Farm Tavern. Just...
Read moreChristmas disaster. First off, it is so expensive. We spent $55 for a family of 3 just to get in. There are no directions, nobody to tell you where to go once you get past the ticket both. They had a s'more pit, an unenthusiastic Santa, and the worst light display hayrid ever. They hardly had any lights! The ride was super dark. They didn't even have Christmas music playing anywhere. We were do mad and disappointed. We will never be back. This is a sad cash grab. Don't...
Read moreTranquil, serene, breathtaking, there are so many words that describe beautiful, all of which would be Paradise Organic Farms. To think that this gem is so close to me and I never knew, if not for a Google ad. Fields of cosmos, zinnias, sunflowers, and an exceptional herb garden, all thoughtfully laid out, along with benches where you can sit and take in the splendor. If the earth laughs in flowers, then Paradise Organic Farms is a very happy...
