City of Chipley - Jim Trawick Park — Attraction in Chipley

This is a beautiful place for huge gatherings like tonight for the Panhandle Watermelon Festival! We got to see Josh Turner and Shenandoah tonight. I must mention, the employees that put together this incredible event, were very; professional, down to earth, considerate, caring and absolutely amazing at what they do! Thank you Mr. Colby for all of your fantastic work! The grounds are kept very nicely. The law enforcement at the PWF 2022 event were very kind and exceeded all expectations. Chipley, FL…. Stand for your “in county” protectors and be proud of them! There was 0 chaos, everything ran smoothly, which lead to all us southern folk right on into having a GREAT time!

Beautiful park. Adequate fields for multiple different levels of play. Clean restrooms. Electrical outlets located throughout the entire park just in case you should ever need one. Nice, spacious Splash pad for the kiddos during those hot summer days. Ample parking. Landscaping seems to be maintained nicely. They even have an on site maintenance shop if a situation should occur that...

Went for the watermelon festival on Friday night. Was a nice size place for it, but it was completely not thought out event for water for people on a nearly 100° day. An hour long wait for bottles of water was ridiculous. If you have all that space and all those sponsors, each tent should sell water bottles. The park is large enough to pull off...
