The obelisk: a curious peace. Some say it drives a man to insanity. Others say its presence alone is what causes so many souls to be lost in Laurel Court forever more. They say if you stand in the gardens and look up at the mansion you can see the poor souls condemned to wander the grounds. Hands scratching the windows, desperate for escape. You can't walk to Brink Brewing from here.

Note to other travelers that may see this on the list of must see things in Cincinnati...Even though there are not signs that say no visiting or tresspassing do not go unless you are having an event or I guess schedule a tour. It's listed as something historial to see in Cincinnati, the gates were open we parked to look around and were taking pictures. We saw someone and asked about taking pictures...the response was a snarky comment about coming to our house to take pictures. If anyone has a thing for poorly made southern houses from 1930 with asbestos shingles...they are more than welcome to...

This property is absolutely gorgeous. We were traveling through Cincinnati and did a quick Google search and dropped by. We were in error for not checking the website and realizing that tours are scheduled but the caretaker was very gracious.

The formal garden is amazing. I can only imagine how magical a wedding or other event would be here. Check out the website and make plans to take a tour of this...
