Madera park is everything that a park should be. Its centerpiece is a playground with three play structures, small, medium, and large, to accommodate children of different ages. These feature slides, ladders, monkey bars, and other attractions that children love. Two climbing structures are lots of fun. Children who are tired of climbing can relax on the swing set. There are also several benches where parents can sit and watch. Oak trees provide shade to keep the park cool in the summer, and drop gold and orange leaves in the fall.
The playground is surrounded by sports facilities. There is a wide open field that hosts youth soccer games in the fall. There are three baseball diamonds for little league. Read moreThe problem with this place is the same problem with EVERY place....the other people who come to this park! What happened to all of us that we are SO completely and hopelessly self-absorbed? His teeth punctured through the skin below his lower lip and he needed stitches to fix it. Anyway, I was pleasantly surprised to see that the play structures have been updated to newer ones and I no longer have to worry about the steep slide. No sand, swings for both big kids and babies, a few benches around the playground area and picnic tables farther into the large grassy area, almost fully fenced playground area, and bathrooms across the parking...
