I love history and this museum was chock full of information about the area. Friendly staff, nice gift shop, I learned so much while I was there. Would love to visit again. These smaller museum have staff that are passionate about their neck of the woods and answered any questions we had.

Very interesting, and the lady was very nice, and had so much information to share. I would put on list of things to do.

I had been wanting to go to this place for a long time, and after having driven past it for many years, in 2017 I finally found enough time to spend their and every moment didn't seem enough. I'm a huge Civil War buff and was so happy to see so many items and antiques. I thought one of the coolest things there was a West Point jacket from Emory Upton who devised and led an assault at Spotsylvania at the mule shoe. There was a lot of local history within the place and very informative Native American items and cultural information. If you live around that area I highly recommend you take some time and go spend it there. I brought a date and she had a great time even though she's not a big history buff like I am. Plus, how cool is it that the Holland land office is still around? In our world of technological advances and hastily made places, it was so cool to experience something so historically significant to the Western...

Some people who are near your building should get a warning when you are going to set off your cannons. You scared my children and also shook my house. Have...
