it is a small beach but well kept overall. The water is less murkier than other beaches around but don’t expect the Caribbean sea :-). Life guards are very engaged making sure that swimmers follow the rules. The bathrooms are very clean, big and airy. There are life vests to rent for free for kids.

Have to be a Westchester resident to enter so definitely makes it great! Good size, water is calm and enough parking for all.

Fine beach. Costs $10 to park and roughly$6 per person to go on the beach. Good things to know if you've never been there: If you hear thunder they make you physically leave the beach for 30 min. Not just get out of the water but actually physically leave the beach and they monitor that you stay under the roof right outside the bathroom regardless of if there is rain. It's weird. They really like spinning their whistles around their fingers and telling you to stay under the roof. Being 17 with a whistle is thrilling. If lightnings is seen then they prevent you from stepping on the beach for 45 min. They do not tell you any of this when you park to park and pay to enter the beach. We got to the beach and within 5 min thunder was heard and it slowly kept coming. No rain. Pretty clear skies. But some thunder in the distance. After spending over $40 for me and friends we left and they didn't offer any sort of refund and refused when we asked. Pretty rude. We sat on the beach for 5 min... And the beach staff and lifeguards stalked us as we were packing up our stuff. Super uncomfortable. I highly recommend not going to the beach unless there isn't a cloud in the sky. The staff...

Was looking for a beach and this came up as an option with great reviews. Paid 10$ for parking to enter the park. Waited till 11 for the beach to open. Then little did we know but to enter the beach you have to be a resident of the area. Complete disappointment and waste of time if you are not a resident !! At least it could have said something before you enter to pay for parking. Also you have to pay additionally to enter the beach cheaper for those with Park passes and more for...

Went to the small sandy beach area for a few hrs yesterday. My 4yo son and his buddy had a blast so it was worth it. As a beach it is pretty bad. Small strip of sand, no waves, and pretty dirty water. Fairly clean bathrooms are very close which is nice. $10 parking per car and $10 beach entry per person is a bit steep, but I guess otherwise the crowds might be out of control. The rest of the park was filled with people having BBQs playing music from all around the world and having...
