Northeast Worms — Attraction in City of Rochester

I wanted to learn more about vermicomposting to ease my way into composting while also creating a great fertilizer for my fruits, vegetables, and houseplants. I found Gaetano in one of the local plant groups, and he was extremely knowledgable about the entire process, not only leading me to valuable resources, but creating his own videos about the worms, the process, and what/how to compost. I couldn't believe I hadn't started this years ago! It is so incredibly easy and now I feel like less is going to waste in our house. Not only that but Gaetano is local, so I was able to purchase a small amount (200+) worms from him to get started. My red wigglers (something else I learned) are really happy, the kids have new "pets", and soon enough, I'll hopefully have a great batch of worm castings...

Gaetano was very friendly, responsive and knowledgeable, and his worms were much heartier and more voracious than the first batch we’d bought online. It’s really cool to be able to start our vermiculture habit through local means. Highly recommended.

There was a shipping issue that was entirely on USPS, and Gaetano was responsive and communicative throughout and willing to send a replacement order if necessary.
