A small, cute park! This park is really nice for walking. There are several walking paths that go around the lower and upper part of the park. There is a nice view of the city of Syracuse from the upper park. There is a large pond in the center of the park. I wouldn't suggest fishing or getting into this water, but it doesn't smell bad and it's nice to walk around. There is also a nice gazebo out over the water.

On one side of the park there is a playground, and there's also a public pool. I can't speak to the pool or bathhouses though.

I would not suggest going to this park after dark though due to its proximity to certain parts of the city. It's okay to visit during...

Spectacular park. Words are inadequate to describe it. Gazebo is beautiful year round. Lots of weddings happen there with photographs being taken at gazebo and beautiful bridge. The swimming pool is popular during the limited summer months. Nice play ground with water splash pad. A wonderful place for daily walks around the lake year round. Ice-hockey and associated events on the frozen lake are very popular winter events. The free summer Pops in the Park concerts are great but are not as well organized. The city or parks department has failed to replace old speed bumps and people are driving dangerously fast near people,...

I can see this used to be a great park but has hit a rough patch. The pond is low and is not attractive as a result and even has signs warning of algae ruining the view from the benches. The infrastructure is falling apart and there is construction ruining the feel. There are few places to legally park which is ridiculous given the size of the road through it.

The pool looks nice and the sunset is good but I wouldn't come back until it is taken...

Great for pictures, friendly people in the area, good fishing, public pool and playground! Picnic areas with roof structures. I wish someone would stop knocking over the toilets though :( my friend and I had to go bad and the porta potty was knocked over. Not the park's fault so doesn't affect my stars. Loved it overall!
