A small, cute park! This park is really nice for walking. There are several walking paths that go around the lower and upper part of the park. There is a nice view of the city of Syracuse from the upper park. There is a large pond in the center of the park. I wouldn't suggest fishing or getting into this water, but it doesn't smell bad and it's nice to walk around. There is also a nice gazebo out over the water.
On one side of the park there is a playground, and there's also a public pool. I can't speak to the pool or bathhouses though.

Read moreSpectacular park. Words are inadequate to describe it. Gazebo is beautiful year round. Lots of weddings happen there with photographs being taken at gazebo and beautiful bridge. The swimming pool is popular during the limited summer months. Nice play ground with water splash pad. A wonderful place for daily walks around the lake year round. Ice-hockey and associated events on the frozen lake are very popular winter events. The free summer Pops in the Park concerts are great but are not as well organized. Read moreI can see this used to be a great park but has hit a rough patch. The pond is low and is not attractive as a result and even has signs warning of algae ruining the view from the benches. The infrastructure is falling apart and there is construction ruining the feel. There are few places to legally park which is ridiculous given the size of the road through it.
The pool looks nice and the sunset is good but I wouldn't come back until it is taken...
