Adventure Landing — Attraction in City of Tonawanda

I had my sixteenth birthday party here wearing my 'new' 80's preppie green polo with the JC Penney dragon on it. Several things have been updated along the way. and I tend to return every 10-20 years evidently.. The game room is great and several are ticket-related with a counter to trade in the said tickets. They do allow you to collect tickets for return visits (I accumulated 1800 in about an hour or so) so I have a receipt for the 1800 for when I go back. The golf courses are fun, and are listed as Easy, Moderate and Hard. You are required to buy 2 games of golf at a time, and are given a ticket with a hole punch for the first game and allowed to bring it back for a 2nd game at any future time - with no expiration. It's always been like that, and it's only 10.50 for the two games. Nothing says you can't share a ticket for two people to play on the same ticket, but we politely bought separate Tix, and we didn't share. Also, in theory you could play all three courses with the same ball by skipping the last hole, but again that's cheating so we putted the last hole and took our 2nd game tickets home. So I still think like a thief, and act like a saint.. lol It's a great time with friends and a perfect low stress place to enjoy some time together. Great for kids of all ages. Absolute terrible experience. I had my son's birthday party there. When we pulled in his name was spelled incorrect with a missing letter, he of course noticed it immediately and was sad. I mentioned it as soon we got inside and asked for it to be fixed. 3/4 of our guests mentioned it and joked about it when they arrived. It was quite embarrassing and my son was upset more each time. The sign was never fixed. Upon leaving a few guests asked about taking a balloon home as I brought in my own along with them supplying a bouquet of 5 as well. I was surprised when our party leader took the remaining balloons away as she said she was directed by the manager as I was also informed I would need to pay for the ones I gave away. In which is very surprising as I was paying $300 for a party I would assume 5 $1 balloons would be included. As I was leaving I inquired about "calling it even" on the balloon charge since my sons name was never fixed on the sign. I was told that the wind was to blame for the sign and they were "too busy" to fix it and was cynically offered to have someone go out and fix it then, as it was an hour after the party ended and pitch black outside. This place is absolutely horriblly ran and only half their games are operational. I will never step foot inside again as I suggest nobody else does as well. They will never get my money again they need to be shut down asap bad business bad attitude gave racist vides soon as we walked in the door for my baby birthday. I did my baby birthday there a couple years ago and we came with cake an played games an ate pizza with no problem this time this lady that worked this night was very disrespectful and rude told me if I wasn't booking a party I had to leave my baby cake in our car and we only get 1 slice of pizza or hotdogs for only 8 kids. So I never went through this before I did my baby birthday there so I'm like when did this changed and she gave attitude was on her phone like she didn't want to help us. Wanted to charge me $200 for 8 kids 1 slice of pizza per kid and some tokens with my own cake at that i. Ridiculous. Nobody was in there but my family it was empty and I see why they have no business very unprofessional I was ready to go off on that lady because her attitude was disgusting I do not recommend adventure landing to Nobody shut them down . The kitchen probably nasty and dirty anyway. Never again ....
