This location has a rich historical background and is part of the Moody Mansion in Claremont. The park features playground equipment, a small area with a free library box, and plenty of parking available at both the lower and upper parts of the park. Events are frequently held at the top of the hill, which offers a fantastic view. There is also a stone sitting area with a roof, perfect for picnics.

The park has numerous hiking and biking trails that stretch for miles. It's a wonderful place to spend time outdoors, and it is very clean and dog-friendly. However, during my last visit, there were no porta-potties available, so it’s advisable to use the restroom before heading to the park.

Overall, it’s a lovely area with great views at the top of the hill and a safe space for little kids to run around. It's also an excellent spot for family gatherings, weddings, or any kind of celebration you might...

Played the new disc golf course today. Very pleased w the design! The card on UDisc shows a very short course. Legit measurements I am sure. But, it plays much longer.

They did not wear out any saw chains blazing this 18 hole course. You won’t have to heave the drives from the gravel/hardpack tee boxes, but you must pick your lines well!

I LOVE that they used the ravines on the west side of the park. They kept the course well away from the biking/hiking trails. A solid walk for sure.

The course is literally brand new today, so there are a few holes that will wear in better w age. Signs are still going up, but the trails are well marked already. Two mando holes, and we managed to get to both tees right as the signs were going up!

This will become my home course. Thank you Alex, Ron, et al for the...

Always such a nice time here ! It's rarely ever totally full of people due to having so many different sitting/hangout spots , so you can usually find a fairly secluded place to spend your time which is really nice . There's a wicked awesome playground at the base of the park that's got woodchips as a type of sandbox , which isn't my favorite thing ever as personally I feel the ground is better than woodchips for children , but hey nothing too bad . Been coming here for a few years now and for the most part my biggest complaint is the other people that go here don't always pick up after themselves so you will probably find some scattered trash and a few cigarette butts...

I e been going to Moody park for family get togethers and bbq my whole life! Now that I'm in my late ,30s and have my own children I've started coming up (from out of town, I live in Concord NH now) and have my kids party's here. I was disappointed to see alot of the grills have been taken out. I'm sure they were taken out cause of normal wear and tear they did last a lifetime!! Maybe someone will donate some more :) it really is a great place to have a get together. Pluse it's free!!! And very shaded!!

Great Views, Confusing Trails: Moody Park offers a nice walk up the main service road with scenic views. However, for hikers looking for trails, be warned. The trails themselves are not well-marked, making it easy to get turned around and unsure of which path you're on. While it adds a bit of adventure, clearer markers would definitely improve the experience.
