Cope's Park — Attraction in Clatskanie

Nice place for fam. Stay away from the skatepark and don't let your young kids go there watch out for dog poop because it's everywhere like it's horrible and it's disgusting and they really need to start finding people that don't pick up their dog** poo, because then maybe more people would start picking it up if they followed through with the fine of $250 or what ever the amount is then people would be a lot more apt to follow the leash Rule and the dog poop pick up your own animal dung rule . Anyhow it sure would be nice . The park does an excellent job of providing the dog bags and garbage cans everywhere people just don't do it it's not the parks fault it's the people's and keep your dogs on leashes please I don't need them attacking my...

We love the Park. I've been going there for different events since I was born. My parents went there growing up also. It's so beautiful. Great place for the kids to play. Great Baseball field, Tennis courts, Basketball court, Soccer fields, a covered picnic/event area, Skate Park, the River and Slough run around it, and a beautiful Pool. Then for the last 29 yrs, Heritage Car Show with a Pie Baking Contest. My husband and I both won. I got 3rd in Fruit Pies and he won with his '79 FORD F-100 RANGER....

Good park, can be very windy mid day. Nice places to picnic, they updated the park and they have a great fully fenced in play area for younger kids. No dogs are allowed in here, I say this because people like to ignore this fact and as a parent of 6 that is one thing I loved because feces can carry serious diseases and I don’t want children falling in it after people refuse to pick it up so please obey the signs for the safety of small children.
