This was a terrible experience. The trails are not maintained at all. There are several huge trees down and you need to go around them. The Bridges were dangerous, and the Winters Bayou bridge had planks missing. Still I went further. I finally turned around at this bridge which seemed impassable to me. I would have taken pictures of the planks missing in the Winter's Bayou bridge on the way back, but the mosquitoes were so bad and I didn't have mosquito repellent, I couldn't stop any longer because I was being attacked in the middle of the day. It was mushy ground by the bayou, so I would suggest waterproof hiking boots/shoes and I used my hiking poles frequently to cross water when there was not a bridge available.
