A Christmas Wonderland NC — Attraction in Clinton

Hearing about a light attraction is enough for me to jump in the car but for such an affordable price my car was in light speed! I'm very happy for the experience. There couldn't be a kinder, more considerate staff. They made you feel at home within their family. I loved that not only was there a hayride (which I find much more pleasurable than riding in my own car through the lights. It really adds to the atmosphere) but there were many other activities like watching seasonal movies while making smores. I mean come on what else screams Christmas! Oh and I forgot the best part!!! Their Santa is hands down the most authentic Santa I've ever encountered. He looks the part and is so sweet with kids. Not so customer-focused customer service!! Went on the hayride first, and then got in line for photos with Santa. After waiting in line over 15 minutes with NO movement at all, we find out there's a printer problem. After an additional 25 minutes with no fix to the problem, I went to see about some admirable substitution for the cost of the photos. Rather than accommodate us with a couple of s'mores kits and a couple of hot chocolates (a total money difference of about $4), they simply refunded the money for the photo ticket. This whole experience was magical. From the man working parking to the Grinch and Santa, everyone went above and beyond. The lady taking pictures was so patient and kind with one of the nervous kiddos and she captured the sweetest picture. The Grinch was the best Grinch I’ve ever seen. He had a great personality and his costume was perfect. The s’mores and hot chocolate were delicious and the lights were beautiful. The kiddos enjoyed the hayride and the barrel train.
