Local museum, local history. A friend first found out that Clinton even had a military museum online somewhere and we decided to stop in and check it out while close by one afternoon. Not only did we get to see their new building which holds the military history but we got a guided tour of the entire complex which is 11 buildings I think. It is free to enter but the upkeep of places like these is not so they do have a donation jar up front if you are so inclined to do so. This place is well worth checking out and I for one plan on going back again soon!

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Really blown away by the quality of the exhibits, especially the military building. Chris was able to answer all our questions and provided some fascinating local stories. We spent about 1.5 hours and didn't even get to half of the buildings. Will definitely be coming back.

Great place to visit. My 4th Great-grandfather Pvt. Austin Beasley, Sr. log cabin is here. It was built by him after he was granted 2000 acres from the Lord's Proprietor of England in 1770. The farm is near Warsaw on Beasley Road and is still farmed by our family. The cabin was moved here from the farm.

What looked like a modest museum when we pulled up, turned into a muti-building campus with well curated displays highlighting local and expanded area history. Our guide Joel, was a wealth of knowledge and is a huge asset to their effort of educating and entertaining. He wove interesting stories into the explanations of the many exhibits. Five out of five stars. ...

Very informational museum about the history of Sampson County. The staff are very friendly and educated us about the many intersting things this place has to offer. There are many exhibits, including military, law enforcement, historical houses, and many more. We had a wonderful time and definitely recommend it topeople...
