Coeur d'Alene Parkway State Park — Attraction in Coeur d'Alene

It's a nice paved trail right next to the freeway. It can be quite a noisy walk to the top as it's right next to the freeway. There are some fix mounted binoculars to use along the trail. A statue by David Clemons sits on the Higgins Point on the Centennial Trail. It’s an old-time photographer nicknamed 'Leopold', his camera poised to capture the beauty of the lake all year round. Yet another of the parks in the area that is a POTA site (Parks On The Air) for radio amateurs to activate. It is accessed from I90 back in Coeur d' Alene, and is near Higgins Point. We took our e-bikes from post falls to this state park. It was a cool ride, but the park is more of just a lookout from a busy road with a few benches and picnic table. We made use of the table and ate a quick lunch before heading back. The views were spectacular though and...
