Tioga Beach is a bit of a gen. The water has an aqua coloration, it is a small yet comfortable place to swim your livestock(Labradors), your kids, and your wife. People are friendly and accommodating in that I find I feel welcome. There us a boat access and the pit is stocked with rainbow trout, an occasional panfish may swim by the beach, and there are ample skipping stones. Just...try to avoid swimmers as some take a dim view of stones ricochetting off of foreheads. People and dogs swim comfortably together has been my experience. Read moreThis was one of my favorite beaches I've been to. The view of the lake is beautiful. Plenty of parking. Clean. Sand and very few weeds in swimming area. Very nice fishing dock with plenty of room for all. Porta pots were clean and they have trash barrels!! Easy access to beach from parking lot and big enough you can be in the mix or away from it depending upon your mood. 2 pavilions and some picnic tables to sit in the shade if you'd prefer. There's a nice playground for younger ones to play on and the pavilion, which overlooks the beach, is a nice place to find some shade and have picnic.
