hello Mark, as a long time customer of yours at the Union Square market I was intrigued to see the addition of mozzarella to your product list this morning. I naturally tried some since all your other cheeses are the best in the tristate area, even though i knew, coming from Hoboken that you had a tough task to beat the guys in my town that have been making great mutz for generations. Read moreAnother weekend drive destination. Arrived on the first day after a long heat wave. Was cool, and a welcome relief. Now to the cheese... We had an impromptu tasting, my wife and I being the only ones there at the time. Got to taste a range of really fabulous cheeses. Learned a bit about the cheese-making process and the history of the farm. It was a delightful experience, and we purchased several cheeses that we ate later with a little wine and crackers. Read moreI had never even heard of Cato Corner Farm, but some friends brought us here to do some cheese shopping at the start of a CT Wine Trail tour. What a fantastic find! The young man inside the Cheese Shop was incredibly friendly, eager to offer us samples of a variety of their homemade cheeses, and he was very knowledgeable -- he helped us learn about their farm, the cheese-making process, etc. We were able to purchase some of our favorite cheeses, and then we even had a chance to see some of the younger cows in the barn.
