Plenty of parking and open space for dogs to roam around. While it's not as developed as Bear Creek dog park, I prefer GOG since other dog owners tend to be more responsible and their dogs are better trained/behaved. Which makes sense - your dog has to be well trained when there aren't any fences.

Beautiful views. Maybe it is because of the construction, but there weren't any signs anywhere. I wasn't sure I was in the right place till I saw other people with dogs. It's a big field that my pup loved running in. Be careful of cactus and note that the dog park isn't all the way fenced in.

Very beautiful. A favorite spot of ours from time to time. Even my grandchildren enjoyed their time and day on their adventure. The children were even able to see deer in their natural habitat. Amazing and the way the Garden is always kept so clean and Prestine is a marvel in itself.

Okay there are pluses and minuses to this dog park. The pluses are the setting at the base of the Garden of the Gods and Pikes Peak. Pluses also include size...this place is enormous! However it is high desert terrain and there are lots of brambles and prickers and other things that are not dog friendly. This would be offset by taking a walk at the ranch next door which has grass. You have to leash up your dog before you go there, though, it's a working farm and there are farm animals everywhere. They take that s* really...

We bring our little Annie here all the time. She feels like the Queen of Dargen! Very spacious, and not too crowded--normally just a handful of dogs will be there. Of course, the scenery is really nice with Garden of the Gods just to the west, and the dogs are really friendly. Lots of room for your dog to run around. Keep in mind though that the park is not fenced in, so you'll need your dog to be very responsive to a verbal recall, especially with 30th street bordering the east side...
