Springs Ranch Park — Attraction in Colorado Springs

This park used to be awesome. It's only a block or so from my house. But the sketchy people who hang out there make us feel unsafe. My son has had numerous problems at that park within the last year. In fact, just this week he and his buddies were harassed, and his football was stolen. When they went to retrieve the ball by talking to the parents, a dad flashed a gun in a threatening manner. We had to contact law enforcement. He has been threatened by gangs, we see drug dealers, and other unpleasant people. Our little neighborhood park is not so...

It's nice and quite. It's small but big enough several age groups can play within my eye sight. I also like the sidewalk around the park, I can walk and watch the kids. The side walk even dips a little which is fun on skates, a bike, a skateboard. There is enough room to throw a ball, play a game of baseball with little kids are soccer. Wish they had bathrooms...

I grew up at this park :) Still an awesome place to walk and bike, and I love taking my best friend's kids there- I sure do appreciate it when they have the porta-potties. Also, they just re-did the swing set, so it doesn't lean at all now!
