Canon City Rouse Park — Attraction in Colorado

The problem with my review is, the new splash pad and play ground for the kids is great. However, there needs to be a security guard at the play ground where the delinquent teenagers take over from the small children. Tonight, a group of teenagers were on the swing, and one girl decided to scream profanity at a boy walking along the street because he was "staring at her while he walked!" But she didn't stop there. Then she had one of the boys with her add to the word exchange. I don't recall seeing anything that bad during the earlier hours of the day. The splash pad is great for the kids and I think they put a lot of great work into the play ground. It would be great if children could use it safely instead of having teenagers over run...

I have been going to rouse park since I was very young to participate in recreational sports like youth soccer, baseball, and football. My dad played adult softball here and now I play adult mens softball here on Wensdays and co-ed softball on Mondays weather permitting and during the seasons. Completely recommend going to this park as each year the canon city rec district makes it more appealing in one way or another...

Cool park that is well kept. Grass is super fresh and green! Very well manicured and clean! Nice ball parks and they have the concession stands open during the games with a good variety and selection. Super busy during the baseball season! Super busy! Lots going on during summer months!
