Lory State Park - Visitor Center — Attraction in Colorado

I've been an annual family pass holder at Lory State for the past two years. My family really enjoyed spending time there, and planned on buying annual passes for the forseeable future. QHowever, today I had my first interaction with the Rangers. Due to the rude, condescending, predatory, and threatening attitude of the three Rangers I dealt with, over a minor misunderstanding, I will not come back or buy another pass from them. I'm not going to write a book about my whole experience, but basically I thought I could make a copy of my family annual pass, but I was supposed to have the original. Instead of explaining my mistake and treating me like a reasonable person (not to mention a continual patron), the rangers were rude and condescending about telling me the correct rules, and charged me for a daily pass even though I was leaving. Then, as I drove away from the window, another ranger stuck his head out and yelled that he would ticket me if I ever made this mistake again. Not a good way to keep customers, or to treat...

Lately, I've been stopping here during long training runs. The staff are friendly, they have a small fridge of fairly priced cold drinks, a bottle filling station, clean bathrooms. Plus some neat displays and cool merch. If I had to change one thing, it would be to add some pedestrian access...
