North Gateway Park — Attraction in Colorado

Absolutely love this place. Its been getting busier but my family and myself love to take and ride our bikes through here. It's quiet, serene, most ppl are fishing so it's social without much social interaction and you can kinda just enjoy nature close to town. There's also numerous trash cans around to throw...

It's a bit out of the way but if you are ever in Lamar , CO and your itching to drop a line you won't be disappointed Wipers Sunfish blue Gill and Channel Cat I'm sure there are possible other species ... three ponds in total majority of action is on the first one though great place to fish if you don't...

Good little swim beach, brand new facilities and a lot of potential for all sorts of activities. Just wish the visitors leaving the trash behind would be as passionate about this park as the city...
