956 ft above the ground🌉🚂 Did you know The Royal Gorge is one of the deepest canyons in Colorado, reaching a depth of 1,250 feet? The Royal Gorge Bridge, built in 1929, is one of the highest suspension bridges in the world, standing 956 feet above the Arkansas River🏞️ We were in Cañon City for the @mtnhouse retreat and decided to take the train ride!🚂 Need to know: 🎟️ There are different types of tickets. We splurged and bought the dome tickets with larger windows! We aren’t sure we would get these tickets again as we went outside to have the best views of the canyon but the seats are super comfortable + have a nice table ⏰There are 3 times available, we took the 12:30 time 🌄Cañon City is about an hour and 10 minutes from Colorado Springs and 2 hours and 15 minutes from Denver • • • • #canoncity #royalgorge #royalgorgebridge #colorado #royalgorgetrain #arkansasriver

Everything you need to know about Royal Gorge Bridge & Park! ⬇️ Here’s everything you need to know about visiting @royalgorgebridge ! ⇢ BEFORE YOU GO: 📍 Located in Cañon City, CO (2h 30m from Denver) ⏱️ Open 365 days a year. The Bridge opens at 9am, and the rides & concessions at 10am. Closing times are as follows: - May 27 - Sept 4: 7pm - the rest of Sept: 6pm - Oct: 5pm - Nov & Dec: 4pm 🎟️ You’ll need tickets to enter the park! You can pre-purchase them online for $3 off! Tickets can be used up to one year from date of purchase and can be validated for a FREE next day return. ⇢ WHAT TO DO: ⛰️ Walk across the bridge and take in the incredible views! 🎢 Ride the SkyCoaster if you’re looking for a thrill! (I didn’t do this one because I’m too much of a 🐔 It is NOT a rollercoaster. It’s a giant free floating swing. Look it up!) ☁️ Ride the Cloud Scraper Zipline across the gorge! This was incredible and I highly recommend! 🚠 You also have the choice to take the Aerial Gondola across the gorge instead! 🧗♀️ Take a Via Ferrata climbing tour for incredible views! ⇢ THINGS TO KNOW: 🎟️ General Admission Tickets: $34 (Includes access to the Bridge, Gondola, the Plaza Theater, & the Children’s Playland) - Zipline: $50 - SkyCoaster: $39, $68 for 2, $90 for 3 - Zip & Sky Combo: $78 - Via Ferrata Tours: $155-$185 🚂 Other things to do in the area: - You can white water raft the Arkansas River and get amazing views of the bride from below! - Head out on a scenic train ride via the Royal Gorge Route Railroad! @royalgorgerouterr - Horse Rides - Jeep Tours HAPPY ADVENTURING! ☀️🦋🏔️🥰🌲 #colorado #suspensionbridge #canyon
