The Farm Park as my kids call it! A lovely area right off the 63 highway but set far enough off the outer road that it feels safe with ample parking. Lots of interesting things to see including historic homes, a boat inside a building, and the Boone County History & Culture Center (FREE) with multiple walking paths. A great playground for little kids with multiple types of swings, many slides and a platform playground unit that is easy for all walking aged kids to climb and utilize. Right next to a couple of shelters, one with a grill. No public restrooms. Also located next to a small lake and the Maplewood Barn Theatre.

This is a nice park with sidewalks and paths to walk on. Historical buildings are present with descriptions outside; I have not been inside them, since I usually go after business hours. Nifong Park is home to Maplewood Barn Theater; it's a nice venue for community theater productions in the summer. There is a small, well-kept playground available, and a modest lake. (I've seen one or two fishermen there, but don't know the rules for that.) Wheelchair accessible around the park, but can't speak for the buildings.

Went to the Heritage Festival and fully enjoyed myself! Had a ball getting face painted and talking to the make up artist...so down to earth and a beautiful spirit! While there wasn't as many food vendors there was certainly a lot to discover. I hope the funnel cakes and onion blossoms will be there next year. Love this community event ❤️

It's a really neat spot. It does have a nice playground area for the kids. It also has a small lake, which has a wheelchair accessible fishing area. There are several historical buildings from the alte 1800s, which have been moved on-site. They are furnished with antiques and are really fun to look at. If you want to do a photo shoot, then you have to pay for a permit. The Maplewood Barn and outdoor theater is also on the property. People hold big events inside of the barn. There is a museum on-site and also the original...
