My dog and I LOVE this park and have met so many friendly pups and humans here!
I just want to warn other dog owners that there is a regular walker with three dogs we have passed several times. Today, one of his dogs (light brown mixed breed) attacked mine suddenly and unprovoked and he claimed it was just ârough playâ although it was a full attack. I ended up at the emergency vet and my dog has two lacerations that require cleaning, a pain injection and antibiotics. It was a scary and awful experience.
I just want to warn other dog owners about this because weâve met so many kind pups. Also, no dog should be off-leash at this park if they are aggressive in any way. Itâs not safe for the attacking dog or the dog...
   Read moreIve been going there for decades. It has always been a cool place to go for an easy-access, mellow, low hassle, cool nature-experience. Take multiple paths; some small, some big and wide. Wander off to the creek and skip rocks, or follow paths 9 "9 woods." One could walk a good distance on basically flat terrain, yet there are " Occasional park benches along the way. Pretty good Rest rooms at the entrance (clean; well taken care of). Adequate pyaved parking at enteance. Ok to Walk leashed dogs. One or two picnic pavilions at entrance, with self-serve and; BYO charcoal, possible electrical outlet under pavillion. Its easy to have a quiet, good time here. Nice...

-Basic Amenities -Pavilion w/BBQ, no AC outlets -Great open area for dogs -Great access to multiple trails. -Clearly marked signs -Scenic views (PM best) Only overall negative is limited parking.
