Every single time I’ve been to El Poblano Grill & Cantina, they’ve never once disappointed. The kindness and hospitality of the entire staff back and front of house are truly unmatched they make you feel like more than just a customer, and that kind of welcoming energy keeps me coming back.

The quality of the food is consistently excellent, and it’s quickly becoming my new favorite spot for Mexican food . I highly recommend trying the Michelle’s Special not just because it has a little bit of everything (which is perfect when you can’t choose), but also because the portion is generous and the staff is always happy to personalize ingredients to your liking. It’s thoughtful touches like that that make the dining experience feel both personal and delicious.

I also want to highlight how clean and well kept the restaurant always is, which I truly appreciate. It shows the level of care and pride they put into every part of the experience. If you’re looking for a place where great food meets genuine service, El Poblano Grill & Cantina is...

Beautiful restaurant. I can imagine this being a good place for large groups of people.

They have a HUGE selection of meals, and it was so hard to choose! I got the Birria burrito and the meat was so tender and flavorful.

The staff in general was friendly and loved to chat. Though the speed of the service could use some improvement.

When I went with my family, we were the only ones in the restaurant and the service was very slow (around 1.5 hours-2 for all our food to come out) On top of that, they accidentally messed up two of our orders. Speaking to them, it seems that they currently have only one chef, and since they have been open for only a couple months, their Chef was still getting the hang of it. Additionally, when we went, they were not offering any alcoholic beverages. They explained they still did not have their liquor license, but would have it by the end of May.

This restaurant definitely has potential, I will try it out again in a few months and see if things...

Disappointing First Experience – Left After an Hour Without Food

We decided to try out this new Mexican restaurant, but unfortunately, it was a major letdown. We were seated promptly and received chips and salsa, and everything seemed fine at first. We placed our order and then waited… and waited. For over an hour, we watched as other tables were seated, served, and even finished their meals, while we were still waiting for our food.

Our server was kind and apologetic, explaining that there were two new cooks in the kitchen. The manager also checked in but nothing changed. Meanwhile, takeout orders were being picked up, and people who arrived after us had already eaten and left. It was beyond frustrating. We eventually left without ever receiving our food.

This was our first and likely last visit. I understand new staff needs time to adjust, but the disorganization and lack of communication were unacceptable. Would...

I love everything about El Pablano! I’ve pretty much eaten at every Mexican place in Columbia, and this one is by far the best! The atmosphere, the staff, the beautiful art and decor. Oh yeah, and the food! They have a large menu with all the best Mexican cuisine. If you love margaritas, this is the place for you. Their margaritas are fresh and not just some drink mix that you get from most places. Their pricing is about the same as everywhere else, but their quality is far above any other place around. Highly recommend!

Excellent Mexican food tucked into a small strip mall. Tried a combination plate to get a sense of what they’re making, and it’s fire. Best chile relleno I’ve had by far. The tamale and cheese enchilada both had a clearly house made red sauce that was delicious. Not the typical red enchilada sauce out of a can, but deeply flavorful. I will say the Mexican rice and refritos could use help to get to the same exceptional level as the rest of the food, but this spot is a must visit for Mexican in CoMo
