The skatepark itself is very well maintained and the pump track is awesome as well. My only real complaints are that a wallride wall takes up most of the street section and everything at the park is pretty big which can be intimidating for beginners. I brought my friend there to skate and he’s not that experienced and there was pretty much nothing for him to skate except for a curb. The bowls are really nice and the park is mostly transition which isn’t my style. The street section is mostly down/out ledges and down rails and stairs so it takes it’s toll on you because there’s really nothing “small” to skate here. A lot of kids wander over from the playground and start rolling around in the bowls which is annoying but that’s not their faults

Fun pump track. I've never been on one before so I had a blast trying it out! Found this little park and decided to make a stop and check it out. Wish we had one of these where I live.! Would love to visit again on my next roadtrip. I enjoy visiting new places to skate. Very clean. Very calm. The pavement was smooth. I did go late evening on a Thursday and after it rained so there wasn't anybody there skating. There were a few puddles due to the rain. Bring some water and stay hydrated! ~Enjoy South Carolina!

Overall, we enjoyed our visit. The playground area was nice, although a few areas of minimal vandalism present. We wished that it had traditional swings with a toddler seat though. The Zipline like, roller coaster seat was a huge hit with our five year old. It appeared like the bike area and skate parks were well maintained. We didn't use them, but we saw others who did during our visit before the rain.

Would've gotten at least 4 stars if we hadn't had glasses on the side walk where children are playing, walking & a shard of glass literally fell right by us as we passed by an area of the side walk. My niece could have been hit if she were skating slower. Not only that we attempted to pick up the bigger pieces so no one else would get hurt. Saw some people doing some things that shouldn't be happening at the park but that isn't the parks fault. Nice trails they were fun to walk. Overall 3 stars the safety of the people I'm with & other children are very important to me & piece of glass...

Mr. Mayfield was a friend of mine whom took good care of this park. He loved all the people who came to skate, bike or skateboard. He was very proud of this park. It is a beautiful area, great open scenery with a very cool view of planes flying & landing over head. It is well kept since he passed away & they even honored him with the Mayfield Classic. It is a great place to have fun, learn some new tricks, practice some old ones & meet new members of the skating community. No graffiti or litter. It is dog friendly & kept clean. It is a nice place & I see why Mr. Mayfield...
