Walked back to the US from Mexico. Considering I had trouble finding the exits from Mexico to the US on foot (not many signs in Mexico) and seeing the continuous sight of Mexican police on Humvees with masks and machine gun turrets, yea I was glad to be back. Also, considering the security and standardization of guards on the US side when contrasted with the Mexican side (not to mention the bilingual abilities), it felt so much more relaxing returning. They were serious as they have to be, but polite and cordial.

Worst Mexican border town ever. In June 2005 we were swarmed by kids and adults selling stuff the minute we set foot in Mexico. We left immediately.

Only one lane open when there is 3. Very sad.
