Great place to stay. Management is very communicative and they have the park and guests best interests in mind. I have been staying for a few months. Spots are level with concrete pads for the RV. Full hookups at each pad. There are two sides to the park, River side and Land side. Spots on the land side are larger but are missing the river view. My spots have been on the river side for my stay. The park stays pretty full for the most part, so call to make a reservation in advance. I haven't used the boat landing as I do not have a boat, but there are a lot of people using those facilities. Even with that boating traffic, the park is very quiet and that traffic turns away from the RV spots and they provide parking for those boats with trailers on the land side, so they aren't in the way. This really is a great place to set up your RV, I would stay here anytime I'm in the area. The restaurant Slough House Social has closed unfortunately. There will eventually be a restaurant there again, but at this time (4/27/23) that building is not in use as...
Read moreGreat setting along the Sacramento River just outside of the little town of Colusa in Northern California. You are greeted with smiling faces when you walk in the door. You have a choice to either sit inside surrounded by large glass windows to watch the river slowly, peacefully slide on by. Or you may sit outside in the fresh air enjoying the warmth of the 3 fire pits. If you are lucky you can watch fisherman bring in their catch of striper or sturgeon as the boat launch is at this location also. If you are a hunter or fisherman there is a parking lot for trailers or campers right across the street. Now to the yummy food and drink...the menu for Sloughhouse Social is varied. I think there is something for everyone, kids too! The Bloody Mary's are DELICIOUS and the margaritas are not only beautifully presented they are VERY tasty! If you are looking for a relaxing day or evening in a tranquil setting by the river Sloughhouse Social is the...
Read moreSince this is fairly new, we can imagine what it will look like once the trees have grown. The sites are very clean and enough room between rigs to be comfortable. The restrooms and laundry are spotless. The water temperature was great. The only negative is there is no tray to hold shampoo and soap while showering and the spray of the shower is very sparse. Another plus is the restaurant across the street and the setting sun... I would recommend staying there as we will definitely stay...
