Unless they divorce from LAZ parking and fix their parking situation, we will NEVER be back and you should not go either. If you HAVE to go, read below for tips to not ruin your event.
Tldr: do NOT prepay for a parking pass through Dick's website, budget 1-2 hours to wait in traffic beforehand and another 2-3 afterward (unless your car can offroad illegally onto a nearby sidewalk to escape), and drop a pin so you don't lose your car in the maze. If you need accessible parking, do NOT use their general parking.
-- It took us over an hour and a half to be let into the parking "lot" (unmarked, unlit field full of holes and broken rebar poles). We prepaid for parking because Dick's website clearly advertises there is a $25 fee to park ($22 if you prepay). Do NOT bother - parking is free, and LAZ parking will dodge your calls and emails about a refund. (I've filed a BBB complaint against them for this scam.) Parking is free, but to be clear, Dick's website directs you to prepay for passes that do not exist.
Also, drop a pin for your parking and hope for the best because in an unlit, unmarked sea of cars after the show you're basically just wandering blind into you stumble upon yours. Is it that hard to mark lanes A-Z??
(Oh, and in case it was not clear, the parking is NOT accessible. Anyone with mobility difficulty, aides like wheelchairs, strollers etc. should look into their shuttle...although I bet that's a scam too honestly.)
We missed the entire first act (out of 2!) because we were stuck in traffic for literally an hour outside the venue while LAZ struggled to get people into their crappy unpaved field. It's not worth trying to get a partial refund for the tickets but you should plan got
After the show, there are ZERO LAZ parking attendants so no one had any idea how to leave the venue. There were literally people driving every direction in the dark. We were stuck for over an hour and a half, and I fully trust the reviews that say they were stuck for 2-3. My husband had a medical emergency while we were waiting, and there were no LAZ employees or medics around; by the time it happened the arena staff had all gone home so we relied on the kindness of our neighbors. If we had needed to call 911, it would have been a nightmare for them to find us in the unlit, unmarked maze of cars driving every direction. I would not be surprised if people crashed into each other, struck pedestrians, or damaged their cars on rebar or huge gopher holes last night. What a nightmare.
If you go to this venue, budget 2-4 extra hours of your night to be dealing with parking traffic. Warn your babysitter, bring any medical supplies you may need etc. (But don't worry - Dick's clearly knows you'll be stuck waiting, because there's portapotties in the field while you're trapped. How kimd.)
LAZ Parking is a dangerous scam and unless Dick's takes parking seriously, we will not be back. It's a shame because the venue itself is...
Read moreI had a completely terrible experience with a man from the box office this weekend. I was supposed to receive a ticket by mail through altitude tickets for the Phish concert this past Sunday but the ticket never came. I spoke with a couple different representatives through the customer service line of altitude tickets and Dick's sporting good park and was told that the day of the show the box office would open at 10 am and i could get a replacement ticket.
So on Sunday morning I drove to commerce city at 10am and got there around 10:45 am in attempt to get my ticket. Sadly I was told by almost every employee on site that the box office actually hadn't been opening until 3pm everyday.
I came back before the concern at 4:30 on hopes of avoiding a long line at the box office. When I was at the ticket window a woman began to help locate my reservation (I had the original email, confirmation & ticket number including my photo id). After my reservation was located I was handed off to a young blond man who proceeded to accuse me of being a potential scalper. He was so beyond rude I was taken back by his tone because the transaction had been completely fine until he came to the microphone. He then told me that I would 'be able to pick up my ticket after 7pm because he could not trust that i didnt 'screw someone over' in the parking lot and he needed to make sure he was protecting the person who i sold my ticket to and IF my ticket wasn't scanned already he would let me in' Before walking away he told me again that 'well maybe ill see you later if you didnt scalp your ticket'
I am completely confused why all of my documentation was not enough to secure my ticket, claiming to be concerned for someone else even though i am the paying customer who did not receive her ticket because they sent it to the wrong address seems a bit misplaced.
Not only did i get into the concert late and have a hard time securing a seat (because it is entirely GA in the Stands) I was so stressed that they were going to give my ticket to someone else. Also, i did not appreciate being told that i was committing fraud and 'screwing people over'...
Read moreNew update: they promised me TWICE that they’d send me controlled meds (under DEA LAW) that I lost and now got emailed after 3 weeks of waiting and now that they “don’t have them”— called and she told me they threw them out based off of “suspicions of marijuana”. Drug test me. I don’t do that. So I contacted the police and will sue them. This place is terrible and this is not okay. I will never return for any show ever again. Human to human, y'all know you did me wrong. I’m livid.
Update: it’s been over 3 weeks and my item was not shipped to me as promised! People say they will call me back and don’t. I don’t understand what’s going on but I’ve submitted 3 forms online, called several times. PLEASE send my item back asap as I am disabled and unable to retrieve it. I will pay whatever I need to, to get it back. This is urgent!
FRUSTRATED! No is calling me about a very important lost item. Everytime I call, it goes to voicemail— no one ever answers and I’ve tried for days! And the traffic situation was horrific. 45 mins to 1hr (missed a lot of the show)and barely moved an inch. They should have police guiding people since 27K people went to the show! I am disabled and had no access to handicap parking. I got dropped off and had to walk super far with a cane and no help. Golf carts driving by and no one offering me help. I paid $30 for parking and never got to use it so trying to get our money back from Ticketmaster! Why pay for parking and they don’t let you use it?! They also have parking over prairie dogs, which is wild that they don’t try to relocate those poor animals. Very frustrating experience. The venue itself was nice and sound quality was good. But customer service is poor. We did ask a lady while leaving if she could give us a ride and she said she is not allowed but thankfully helped me! She gets 5 stars for helping a disabled person in agony. Please call me for my lost item!! I have submitted...
