☆Verdict☆

Would not recommend working for this company, they clearly allow harassment to go on between temps and hired in employees. They have alot of double standards when it comes to what they require when working. If you ever have an issue dont dare tell your supervisor or you will probably be the next person to get let go. On top of all the double standards they do not offer a very good pay for what they want from workers.

I would recommend to stay away and find better jobs...

Did the 5pm tour on Friday and had an amazing time. This is my boyfriend's all time favorite beer so he decided to book the brewery tour as a great way to celebrate his birthday and it was! The tour is free, have 4 different beers to sample from, and no one else showed up for our time so luckily it felt like a private one on one tour. Our tour guide was Jordan, he was so nice, friendly, and super knowledgeable. He took his time with us and answered any questions.

He also gave us great tips such as to check out the general store, they have limited availability beers there. AND he also highly recommended checking out the "Eccentric Cafe" in downtown Kalamazoo. This is their bar restaurant which also has an entertainment venue in back. Very cool atmosphere there and based on all of the history we learned from him during the tour we saw little details in the bar/restaurant that reflected that which was pretty cool to recognize. Would do again! Thank...

This is as good as it gets in Michigan for Craft Beer! Bell's has dozens and dozens of varieties some seasonal, some limited release and some just year round favorites. Some of my personal favs are definitely the summer Oberon and also the year round Amber. Oberon is a beer that is unlike any other wheat. It's a little bit more of a bitter bite than more wheats and it also has a smell like any other with an almost summery day sunblock kind of feel to it. Their Amber is also great and is one of the more smoother tasting amber's I've had in a while. Going to the actual restaurant is great! They have a nice beer garden out back with a big lawn that you can sit and relax on I even saw families with games having fun and enjoying the beautiful weather! Bell's is truly a place for everyone...

Most breweries do the same tour as everyone else: talk through the brewing process and show where each part takes place in their facility. While Bell’s still covers these topics they go far beyond just the brewing and packaging process. Depending on the tour, they’ll talk about the history of their beers, their stories, and if you’re lucky you’ll see their hop storage, canning and kegging lines, and maybe even get to do hop sensory by rubbing hops in your hands. Best of all you get some free beer along the way. Unless you work here, the only other reason you’ll be here is for a tour. Highly recommend if you’re in Kalamazoo! Word to the wise, Ubers/cabs are pretty sparse and far away generally the later in the day it gets. Plan accordingly.

I had the opportunity to take a guided tour of the brewery. It was a wonderful experience. Our tour guides demonstrate d excellent knowledge of the brewing process as well as the history of Bell's. Their enthusiasm was infectious and appropriately energetic; the vibe from all the employees seemed very positive. I am a manufacturing process and technology nerd, so I was fascinated by the processes and machinery in action. Would have loved more time to ask questions but they may have been overly detailed to satisfy my curiosity. Bottom line:. It was awesome and I highly recommend a visit.

Austin was an outstanding tour guide. We had a group visit, each of us was from out of town, out of state, or out of country, but everyone enjoyed it. The history and visit inspired me, a native Michigander, to a new found appreciation for Bell’s beer. The information Austin provided was fun and interesting through and through. He size and scale of the operation is unlike anything you typically see at other places. It was quite impressive. We all would recommend the visit to anyone interested in beer, Michigan history, or just general manufacturing.
