I found their 2018 blend is smooth yet lively, like I knew good wine was, many years ago and have not tasted since in a red, not at all "corsé." The 2019 high ridge ("Linx") is full of sunlight. The GPS didn't quite get me to the vineyard itself, but at least to the entrance, then follow the signs, down and up the road. This summer, attending a Northeast Organic Farming Association of New Hampshire CRAFT of Farming event hosted by SHARA Vineyards, I was amazed that organic growing of grapes in not only possible, it is done right here in NH. I came to learn, to have my views changed regarding organic grapes, and that was a success, I will be adopting some of these practices. Pictures: Nico showing off a demijohn, whose shape makes sense for organic wine-making (he'll explain). Makes me think of a similar shape in ancient Greek amphora. Vines covered to avoid birds - do it early, so birds never get the idea that good stuff is there. Itasca grapes, a new thing here, they mostly do Marquette, a multi-hybrid red. Both grape variants are naturally resistant to many pests. Daisy fleabane, a natural antifungal(?), a tea is sprayed on grapes.

Spectacular view but it's not worth the drive. We waited 15 minutes for service even though there was only 1 other small group there. The tasting info about the wines was minimal, maybe a sentence or two about each wine and how it's made. There were only 4 wines to try and they weren't anything special. The price of the wines is also exorbitant, even for a small batch/local place. Love the idea of an organic wine, but not when you're paying $60 for a small bottle of mediocre wine. They don't even have a menu or price list so you know what you're in for. The location is not ideal - you park next to a house with kids and dogs running around, which is a safety issue, and there's only a portapotty for a bathroom. No food or...

We were looking for something to do on an idle Saturday afternoon. We came across this place and were amazed by the experience we had. Such a friendly group of people- our sommelier was extremely knowledgeable and explained the whole process. The owner even came down to say hello. All in all a...
